Savage Blade + Ninja

I think the flaw with the logic is that items that add + skill dont modify your ws obtainability, just base skill + merits. Friends of mine used merits to get ws's early. But adding + gear won't change that.

Really. If you have the skill and sub job to use Vorpal Blade, it will always always always outdamage Savage Blade. I still don't understand why a quested weapon skill is worse than one that is not.

Really. If you have the skill and sub job to use Vorpal Blade, it will always always always outdamage Savage Blade. I still don't understand why a quested weapon skill is worse than one that is not.

Same reason relic WSs are weaker than others (damage-wise, some offer nice enhancements after WS). SC flexibility.

This actually does work, but, it only works if you have learned Savage Blade Previously on another job, like Paladan or Red Mage for example, once you've learned it on a job that can use the trial weapon then it works.

According to the link I gave, it doesn't. Russta's BRD should be able to do it and he can't even though he learned it on WAR.

Because with all that effort it would totally break the game if these ws were the best 95% of the time. Why is Asuran Fists so good in exp compared to almost every other quested ws.
