At the following time, we will be performing FINAL FANTASY XI server maintenance on all Worlds. During this period, FINAL FANTASY XI will be unavailable.

We ask that players who are scheduled to enter Dynamis or Limbus at the time of the maintenance wait until it is complete before entering. Please note that we cannot replace items that are lost during the maintenance process.

thats stupid to fix, i've always used the 2x trick, i log in one day that i can't play, use it, log out, come on tomorrow, use up yesterdays band and recharge the one i have now. Am I exploiting the game? Should I be banned because of this? Regardless of the last time you use it and still want to play you'll have to wait 16hours for it to recharge.

Fixing this will be precedent.

meh, I don't know about other servers, but all three kings are squarely in JP time as of yesterday...so this isn't some big problem.

Now if the ls with crimson mail for all it's plds would stop camping Aspid, that'd be a fucking miracle (and yes, they use crimson to tank Niddy even though they have koenig bodies)

it would suck, but if they fuck the empress band timer they might as well fuck every other timer and make everything true timed or ingame timed, not have somethings true and some ingame.

and what does this do, the empress band, it gets more people to 75 faster to bitch about the lack of endgame. SE does little about that and introduces more solo-newplayer content. I don't even see why you need to have it on a 16hr charge, let it run continuous, let more people hit 75, more complaints about lack of endgame, oh wait...i'll quit blabbling.

-An issue where the quest "Shattering Stars" could not be completed even after all the requirements were met.
-Other gameplay issues.

How long was the quest broken? Why did they have to shut down the entire server instead of just Ru'Lude Gardens for "Shattering Stars"? What are the other game play issues?

And when the hell will we be able to open up the quest "Bait and Switch"? >_<
