they have already, maybe 100 accounts on shiva from legit old time hk players have been perma banned with no reasons given...ppl with multiple hundred crafts, players from day 1, even a pal from my ls with 8 lvl 75's and a lot more 60's
there is actually a reason but its still pretty unfair
Hmm, you never know if they RMTed or not. It could be possible that they did, and SE isn't just a bunch of fools. However, it can go both ways.

Wait, no. That's not really "funny", that's more like "back-stabbingly predictable".
So um... because of their new "RMT Countermeasures" .... They are banning legit accounts, simply because they have lots of gil on a low level character? Please tell me that something as ridiculous as that is not true. This new countermeasure is retarded
GM was msging people on my friend list asking if I work for IGE..
Our LS mule is on my account and it has a lot of gil on it.. and I send out gil to people in 10 20 30mil amounts
Wow.. if they start banning people on accident would be retarded.
That's like the worst way of handling it that they could even possibly consider doing.

Yeah, that was a side effect of the "RMT countermeasures" I didn't see coming, but I supposed I should have. Nice to know those people have put a price on friendship, loyalty and integrity. Those are the accounts that need to be banned, too bad its probably already too late.Originally Posted by Septimus
Guy I know got like 3000usd out of his gil atleast. Can't exactly blame him if he's quitting anyways. The funny part is that I saw some of my old "friends" who quit this game for another game log on to sell all of their gear so they could RMT the gil.

Nicer if it was given away to people ingame to stop the RMT, but ah well, money is money I guess
I wonder if that is why on Midgardsormr, Scorpion Harness dropped from 16 million gil, to 12 million gil in two transactions, and that Verm. Cloak dropped to 15 mil, and still had 11 on AH (last I checked).Originally Posted by Byrd
Sadly, I am a cynic, because that is what the world made me. A cynic is an optimist whose rose-colored glasses were snatched away, thrown to the ground, and stomped into the dirt immediately improving his/her vision. One of my mottos is: "Always expect the worst from people and you will never be disappointed." I have to admit that deep down I did not want to believe that people that I used to consider friends would sell gil.Originally Posted by Byrd
I guess it is amusing, how much some people used to hate Longlyboy and the other gil sellers have become the same exact thing.
(And yeah, I am desperately trying to shame some people out of RMTing so I can keep some respect for them.)
