Looks like maybe a DM type battle where you fight all the avatars at once? Might be kool if 18 BLMs can't win in 45 seconds.

dont assume anything about the new expansion ie "sea will be good, lets do missions fast" or "wyrms will drop loot." ignore possibility and take seriously what you know puts out: 3 kings, cassie, KA, any other 3 year old mob (lol..)

save new stuff that is not yet worth it for casually finishing when your guild gets bored

I think everyone got burnt by CoP bert to not expect mobs to drop things besides crystals.

I am interested in these battles (god forbid me ) because 18 man avatar fight seems freaking cool, and the fact they'll lead into the next expansion means they have nice stuff planned for it. I have a feeling SE learned from CoP, ToaU will probably mirror Zilart more than CoP.

They also know this is the "make or break" expansion, this is the expansion alot of people are holding onto, before deciding to quit (if anything like CoP) or play again (if like Zilart).

Who knows about the rewards... could range from unlocking the unused avatar abilities to a Divine Might style one-time reward to, most likely, a token gil reward.
