    New Key Items for crafts

    Woodworking
    - Boltmaker, 10k GP
    makes it possible to do triple-synths for bolts:
    bundling twine + 3 bolt heads + 3 lumber = 99 bolts, no HQ

    Smithing/Goldsmithing
    - Chainwork, 10k GP
    makes it possible to do triple-synths for chains:
    mandrel + 6 ingots = 3 chains, hq = 6, 9, 12

    - Sheeting, 10k GP
    makes it possible to do sextuple-synths for sheets (nice!):
    workshop anvil + 6 ingots = 6 sheets, no HQ

    Clothcraft
    - Spinning, 10k GP
    makes it possible to do triple-synths for threads:
    spindle + 6 organics = 3 threads, no HQ

    - Fletching
    makes it possible to do triple-synths for fletchings
    zephyr thread + 6 feathers = 18 fletchings, hq = 24, 30, 36

    Leathercraft
    - Tanning, 10k
    makes it possible to do triple-synths for leathers
    tanning vat + 3 skins + 3 leaves + 1 water = 3 leather, no HQ

    Bonecraft
    - Filing

    Alchemy
    - Trituration, 10k
    makes it possible to do double- or triple-synths for certain alchemical products

    beeswax x2, animal glue x2, echo drops x3, all hq-able
    poison potions x3, no hq
    (any others?)

    - Concoction, 20k
    allows the production of hi-potion and potion drops, which are stackable/hqable versions of hi-potions and potions. These give 5 minute medicated status.


    I will edit this post as more information becomes available.
    Edit: just need information on bonecraft filing; it probably has to do with the creation of arrowheads.

    tanning is only 10000 gp, no idea what it does yet.

    i of course, have zero gp, so it'll be a day or two before *I* can find out. lol

    looking at the others, i'd assume it lets you synth multiple hides at once.

    Yea I've been scouring the web for info, looks like tanning is for triple-leather synths.

    There seems to be one key items that I'd say "everyone should have this" like Lumberjack: tritation looks awesome for alchemy (hello 3x poison pots at a time, 3x beeswax, etc)

    The other key items...well...as a vet crafter I tend to buy leathers, sheets, etc all premade, paying the premium for someone else's effort. Maybe this will lower the premium, or maybe not enough people will bother with it and it'll have no effect.

    I wish they'd added a "Weaving" item which allowed us to turn 9 threads into 3 cloths

    I was hoping it finally was going to give a chance for HQ leather synths from hides, i was pretty excited at first

    Doesn't sound like it, but I figured I'd ask anyway.. anyone think this will apply to arrows as well?

    Not sure if arrows are included in that. I'm scanning for more info now.

    My guess is no, unless they change the recipe. Tripling an arrow synth would require 9 reagents, which isn't possible.

    Then again, by all accounts this key item is pretty gay since people rely on HQ results to save money/make money on bolts.

    I don't know almost anyone that uses organics to make thread unless they are skilling up. I agree it really should be the cloth thing, that would make life a LOT easier.

    I got the tanning key item for leather. It's easy to use but you need to buy tanning vats from the leather guild to do it (75g apiece). It's 3 skins/hides + 3 win tea leaves + 1 water + tanning vat = 3 leather (no HQ even though I got HQ animation on ram & tiger synths).. maybe they can implement HQ later but I'm not gonna hold my breath for that.

    well last time i checked dark crystals where still 6k+ on my server, so atleast with the vats you are saving money *shrug*

    Tanning is just a Lumberjack for Leather..... I was really hoping that we could HQ leather finally(last 3 Behemoth Leathre synths have done HQ animation). But unfortunatly Tanner is just to speed up the process and save a bit of money on making Leathers.

    With Tanning:
    1x Dark Crystal + 3x Windurst Tea Leaves + 3 skins + 1 distilled water +1 tanning pot = 3 Leathers.

    I agree, it would be the only reason I got this key item :-/

    If you have clothcraft 78+ you can simply ask Anillah at the guild for all list of the recipes 70-80. If it works for rainbow threads, Anillah will list 2 rainbow thread recipes; the bottom one will be the triple-synth.

    I don't remember seeing it but I didn't look too closely. And I rarely go to Windurst anymore (synth belt ftw)..

    No reason why it wouldn't. The only non-organic thread that I can think of in the game is Moblin Weave, I don't think you can actually synth that.
