Everyone here growing up in the 80's here, including myself, experienced a pretty good time. The US was slowly moving away from it's golden age, and all the 80's kids were getting the last good tastes of what that age had to offer.

Once in a while I still try and find cartoons on saturday morning, but most of its crap.

Every now and then I'll find the Spiderman and X-Men cartoons from the 90s and watch them for 30 minutes.

I loved the original Power Rangers but whenever I happen to see an episode of it now I'm reminded that you really do need to be 5-10 years old because the acting was horrible and the special effects used the toys as their robots.

I remember when Pogs first came out and everyone would come each day to school with a new Bigger and Thicker "Slammer" to play with ..... Always for Keeps.... And of course who could forget the "Tiddleywinks" Rules ..... (for those of u who arent in So Cal that was a term used when the last pog was turned over by taking a "Slammer" and nipping at the edge of the pog instead of that traditional slam .... /que Memories Song

I remember Shirt Tales!!

Before Cartoon Network got with the times, they used to play all these cartoons in the Afternoon, i'd watch them at my grandma's house with my sisters and my cousin. I also watched the Snorks, Smurfs, Pound Puppies, and a few other shows. Always alot of fun!

Omg lol, I remember how stoked I was one when they came out with Star Wars Pogs. It was so long ago I don't even remember how old I was @_@;

And maybe i missed it, but why no GI Joe comments? GI JOE the movie is still one of my favorite movies of all time, and everyone to this day loves those JOE moments (or the side-spliting spoofs of them that are online PORKCHOP SANDWICHES)

They did like two movies after the last episode and that was it.
