They're stingrays.
Anytime someone says shark when referring to a phuabo I just want to stab a small dwarf.

oh god, someone agrees with me! <3
You know, I remember saying that the first day of Sea....
that's not a sting ray, that's a manta ray.
Sting rays are really small, comparatively (like, the body is one foot long and the tail is 6-12 inches)...and they fucking hurt if you step on one. It's 10 times worse than a normal jelly fish sting, and you have to dig the fragments out with a tweaser or they'll get infected.
Normally rays don't eat people, so that's why people call them sharks (because they come up and bite people like Jaws). Plus "The Shark Tank" sounds alot cooler than "The Ray tank"
Yeah I was gonna say this too. I think its more of how the Phuabos act that people call them sharks. They come up from the sea and attack you etc. I'm pretty sure everyone's aware of the likeness to Manta Rays.Originally Posted by edgarfigaro

This is proof that there sharks!
Actually, it's a Phuabo.
But it's very lackluster when you say "zomg i just aggrod the stingray!"
you could follow that up with "lets play with it because it's friendly :D "
"shit shark aggro" fits the situation.
my retard linkshell calls them whales, not even sharks
this is a normal feeling for meOriginally Posted by Lordwafik
Yeah, i always wondered why people would refer to them as sharks... They're way too flat to be sharks and my immediate reaction was "cool, a sting ray thingy"
i just say phaubo
really not that hard, and you make a funny face when you say it

It's a shark. You're playing around, having fun at the sea them BAM this thing comes out of the water and you're missing a few appendages.
I pronounce it "f~au-bo"Originally Posted by Nirokun!

When I went to the Domincan Republic for vacation, we weren't told to watch out for the Stingrays 8)Originally Posted by Not Kuno
Agree with Kuno, lets all go ride a water-banana and have the person sitting in the back get eaten.

Sharks and rays are both part of the Elasmobranchii subclass, so their only distinction is their famly, order, genus, and species. They're very simular, it's almost irrelivant.
