Maybe you missed the part where from 100% to 55% AV didn't use any 2hrs, but I can't recall if he was using magic or not.

Point being, he has actual, dmging physical attacks that were prevented by the wall. And its not the same thing as marathoning, because a marathoned mob has the ability to eventually catch up and use his physical attacks on you, not to mention change targets and go after whos casting on him.

Some people may not understand that Sea has separate areas that you can enter from that are not connected to each other.[edit: It is one single zone, with one single map, but a few unconnected areas.]

To get to the various areas, you teleport to a Crag, and go through the Dimensional Portal. So if you go via the Dem Crag, you cannot walk to the area accessible from the Holla Crag etc.

I routinely have to port around and grab people who enter from the Sea Lions Den side to get them to the various Limbus entrances.

So whatever your terminology may be, fighting behind a wall on the same area, so that AV could run to you is different from fighting AV from the other area where AV cannot run to you. OFC AOE = suck, but w/e...

Mad Props to LB. I know if I saw AV stuck somewere, Id have done the same.

Mobs only go through solid surfaces that can be opened in some way. In the manner, mobs can only go up or down hill on cliffs that players can drop off of. You can't open the wall that they stuck AV on to walk through it. ...Or can you? ;p

You can fall off of those ledges, so if what WizerdRemora says is correct, that is why they can appear next to you. (Same thing with Lizards in parts of Pso'xja.)

No, from 100%-61% it didnt do 2hrs until it hit the 60% mark thats when the first 2hr had started.

For the hundreth freakin' time, most people here are not bashing LB or calling them cheaters for using an exploit. They are simply stating it's an exploit. If you go back and read the thread, most people calling the feat an exploit also congratulated LB on what they did and cheered them on.

If I saw you fighting Faust like that, I would contact a GM and mention that you are fighting a monster in a fashion that you can hit it while it can not hit you, which is a glitch.

Until there is an official statement from SE (and no Nynja's vague question to SE doesnt count, i have sent in a more detailed explaining the situation and how the terrain is being used to hopefully get a response on yes or no today if its an exploit or not) im going to go with the gm saying its not an expoit over some kid who posts on a forum. Sorry if you guys dont like that but GM>kid on forum.

honestly, i think a 30 hour fight of a mob that has never been beaten would have been observed by the dev's and shit. And if it was an out in out exploit, you would have seen an emergency update on the zone.

GM's dont communicate with the dev's. Do you honestly think the dev's care about what some gaijins are doing in sea ??





Hell, a few members from LB even called it an exploit. (NOT FISHING THROUGH 69 PAGES TO QUOTE, GO FUCK YOURSELF)
