Weird Jailer of Temperance behavior?

Normally the Jailer of Temperance is relatively easy to pop, just rotate through all the towers killing each of the 10 placeholders and he shows up. (Yes, he has 10. Theres 5 on the second floor in the same spots. He has popped for us on both floors).

However, ever since the last update...one of the 10 pots is always missing. Nobody is there, and it never pops. Because of this, the jailer never spawns....

Is there now a spawn timer on him, and the correct PH wont spawn until the timer is up? Or did the update screw him up?

did you try the ebon panels or killing his place holder with jailer weapons???

Yes, we also made sure to keep 4-leaf buds in our inventory and face NW when killing the PH on a full moon lightsday!

Semi unrelated but a THF in my LS that showed up late to our sea farm yesterday noticed this. After Temperance was up they said they could not find any Zdei in the entire palace except for the ones guarding the escort pops/goals. Has anyone else seen this behavior or was he just shrooming?

Zdei's ARE on like a 18 min repop...were you the only ones in sea ?

MisterBob, is the 'missing PH' bottom-floor elvaan tower? If so, that zdei shares a spawn point with the cermet alcove at the termination of that escort path, and has always been that way (and is one of the reasons I remain skeptical of your 10 placeholder theory).

My LS has 16 Temperance kills, all on the first floor. We never bothered checking the second floor, but 1-2 times we cleared 5 PH without Temperance popping. I think if it could really pop on the second floor, we would have gotten no-pops more often. More likely than not, though, we just picked a bad time to start clearing PH's and Temperance just moved to one of the other towers before we finished clearing.

It will only pop in the first Floor.
It's been confirmed that the Zdeis on the second floor werent PH's months ago.

Originally discovered this when one of our 8-2 groups was wiped out by Temperance when triggering the escort NPC in the Elvaan tower.

The pot has been missing for us in the following rooms:
Mithra first floor
Tarutaru basement

Nobody was there, and I afk'd in the room for an hour at one point, and the pot was a no-show.

And a pot placeholder does pop in the escort room.

As much as I'd like to agree, and I have pitched that information to my LS leader, it just doesnt make sense.

They may have a few loose screws, but they've never done something to sabotage people.

Jailers were added after 8-2. There's a damn good chance SE wasn't paying attention at all, and just slapped it in the room that looked like the rest of the PH rooms.

I've seen it happen before, considering we've popped him on the second floor. Whether you want to believe it or not is up to you.

As evidence, if you do pop it again in the basement, screenshot it with a slept spider ghrah perhaps since spider forms are only on that floor. That is, if you're willing of course.

I would think if it pops in the basement, more LSes would have a larger amount of trouble popping it.

Ill just take a picture of it in the room with an Ebon Panel, since that's where we pull it.

We had massive amounts of trouble popping it before we realized it could show up in the basement. We weren't the only LS to experience this difficulty as well.

Doesn't mean anything, mobs can follow you on elevator sometime. It's especially fun when you just avoided a rape on the above floor, only to be raped on the other side of the teleport

I really have no desire or need to fake this, and definitely wouldnt risk the safety of my account to warp to another floor with MrArgus or whatever.
