Is it just super rare or something? That's the first normal quadav I've seen use it in any Dynamis bastok I've done, ever.

I've seen that happen once, strangely enough, it was on a Ministrel as well. Were you farming mobs near the AH by chance ??

Yeah, I was at AH steps when that happened.

And I don't macro swap in ws gear (in evasion gear ftw) or use food for Dynamis (as puller that is) so yeah

Happens on occasion, just really rare from the normal mobs. First time I seen it also I was like "wtf"

was bored at dyn-sandy so i was wacking on a PLD mob as WHM with a earth staff and this is what it did for additional effect

Not very rare actually... It's the multi-pop statue by the AH, all of those quads have the NM TP attack. I've seen it a few times when we have low numbers and a PLD tank.

ps: just looked at alliance and noone was on drk either.

None is DRK in the alliance (except Demo maybe?, but I dont think so). It's probably a glitch similar to the random "Cover!" or "Resist!"

It's possible in zones with lots of lag (read: Dynamis) that the FFXI client misinterprets a DRK's Dispel proc as yours. Even if the DRK weren't in your alliance, maybe it was hitting the same mob. I believe the FAQ for one of the parsers mentions something about additional effects possibly parsing incorrectly; the way the FFXI servers send the information to the client, it can't be attributed to one person or another with 100% accuracy?

Everyone feels sorry for the THF in Dynamis. Well acctually in my shell they feel sorry for the BLMs and suicidal BRDs that always try to sleep every train...no matter how big. It's acctually uncommon to see the puller die in my shell now.

You have seen that Kuno, it was on xarcabard and a Kindred whm used cure 5 on me then a DRK killed me instantly :3
