There are false prophets among us,
    who bring in damnable heresies,
and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

    Christians are smrt.

    Best line:

Moussa Yaouli, a 35-year-old farmer, was particularly interested to learn more about the doctrine of transubstantiation, which Living Light personnel told him involved the eating of wafers. "It is said to be a big wafer. I am sure it will feed many of my children.
    Poor people.

"Come rejoice, and feast upon the word of Our Lord, Jesus Christ," said Christina Clarkson, executive director of the Living Light Ministries of Lubbock, TX. "Those who were hungry, hunger no more, for the Word brings life."
LOL pretty sure they'd rather feast on the FOOD of our lord. But hey what do I know.

The Onion is funny stuff, but it's kind of pathetic that so many people I've run across think it's serious. I sometimes wonder about that...

The sad thing, is that is very believable because of how ridiculous religons are. I figured while reading the first couple paragraphs it was a satire, which makes it a good one imo cause it is believable...but also kinda sad.

As Jon Stewart put it, "if scientology wanted to be taken seriously it should have had something believable, like a virgin birth or a guy rising from the dead."

lol, i think i believed in santa claus longer than i believed in god. Sucks that people will believe anything just because they are told to and never stop to think about it.
