Actually to be honest, I've never seen someone try to chain-sleep nidhogg. I just assumed he behaved the same as fafnir. Fafnir 100% positive without a doubt starts to resist sleep after 3 or 4 times.

Whats the point if a mob can resist sleep normally, when people come to camps now with 5-6+ or more Elemental Seals. I dont think I need to do the math when I tell you that 6 Elemental Seals is nearly the entire recast time for Sleep 2s. So in the end, you'll always have one available. Sleep resistances as far as Wyrms are concerned is pointless.

I did it once. Merited enfeebling + tiara/lappas ftw

and @ the dude that said ES > Fafnir

He'll wake up in 10 seconds after a few sleeps whether you use ES or not.

I think without Elemental Seal, I've gotten resisted twice out of about thirty times on Ouryu (on my BLM).

And I fucking hate being PLD on Taru.

I've landed it a couple times in emergencies but it's pretty rare.

I think the issue is how well it works. If every mob were like Fafnir (at least, how faf used to be, sounds like it maybe is still the same) then life would make sense.

But a LS who did KS99 Wyrm said they managed to sleep the wyrm during the fight.

Any wyrm can be slept during flight... it just wakes instantly, like if it had a dot on.

Note that I wrote "fight" not "flight". The ES Sleep 2 was cast at start when the Wyrm is just idly staring at my alliance.
