Holy Fu**ing Sh**. (Amarok, merry xmas)

    http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... scape+Plan

When he was playing (flawlessly btw - I know that song in and out), my jaw was on the floor and he got me singing "Did I stutter?! Did I stutter?!"
It's very impressive to me, since the drummer of DeP makes about 0 sense to other musicians - and this kid didn't miss a damn beat.

W/e this shit was mind blowing. I'd have his baby.

    Here's them live:
    http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... scape+Plan

To people besides those with the taste of Amarok, DeP may sound a bit strange to you. At first blush, you'll only hear noise, then chaos, then both. What you have to understand is that you can't listen to them like you do anything else. They're songs are like a pendalum. It goes back and forth, switching time signatures, switching patterns, all out of time with each other, stop...go...fast...stop...slow, organization to chaos. It's math equations put into melody.

This is 43% Burnt - one of their classics:

    "43% Burnt

I smell that whore. bring me back. bring me a brick.
Take my bottle and break it. pour it all out. i pushed
You too far. self absorb that pity. i want to knock you
Off your horse. i just feel it, everything is fine. spit on
Yourself, you're so beautiful. crack and chip off like
The sun won't shine down. take your medicine like a
Champ, while that sting can last a million years. self
Absorb that utopia so bad, i just feel it."

That guy was pretty impressive. Have you ever heard of a guy named Flo Mounier from Cryptopsy?

'None So Vile' was great because Lord Worm was on vocals. When he decided to leave and become an English teacher(lol) Mike DiSalvo took over vocals and he was fucking awful. Lord Worm is back for their latest album 'Once Was Not' but it's nowhere near as good as 'None So Vile'.

Yeah they had hardcore style vocals after None so Vile. I knew what happened to Lord Worm already, but I wasn't aware he was back. Oh well I still have None so Vile, so I don't care lol.

A great drum solo, really skilled.

I hadn't listened much to Cryptopsy, but I'm downloading so I'll check it out. Black and Death are good, if you're in that mood, but I normally lean more towards speed or melodic metal. Fuck it, it's all great.

For the remaining nay-sayers (however the fuck that's spelled), this video captures the very spirit of the emotion of love. Forget what Kenny G says, THIS is a love song:

    http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... q=94+Hours

And whatever man, I just love the composition of this video. The band is whatever, but the video was shot so fuckin well. The singer is a big, buff black dude, so Here Niro, this is for you cupcake:

Watch how fast these motherfuckers play this live:

And last one, I promise - this shit is fun:

Killswitch is so much better with Howard(the black dude) as the singer. One of my favorite bands.

Unearth is alot like them and I think they're fucking great too. One of my friends has a video of this Killswitch show in Canada of the singer of Unearth subbing in for Howard for like 3 songs. Was so cool.

It's starting to come back though, like Coheed's taking the sound - that old hair metal sound.

The guitar riffs have been back, watch even that Killswitch video - it's oldschool metal riffs, and straying away from muted power chords with distortion (a bad example is Slipknot's Iowa Vs. The new piece of shit album I didn't bother remembering. Hear that old metal riff comin back?)

I'm tellin ya boys -- next thing long hair and converse shoes with TIGHT black jeans and tandom hair flips.

The hardcore thing, I know what you mean. Ever get hit with that shit in a pit? I haven't - but I can almost promise you that would be the end of either the kid or my pit days.

All I can say is ...forget the band, give me the autograph of their live sound engineer!!

Coheed covers Iron Maiden's "Trooper" all the time. It's pretty sweet, you should find and download it. Only thing they have on google video is them doing it acoustic which sounds shitty.

If you can get the special edition of Comalies, it has a 2nd cd with Live+Acoustic version. That version is on that cd too.

Have you heard the new album, minus the one single they've been playing (Our Truth, I think?). I don't really care for the single, the album is a little different, though... seems to be going in a different direction than their previous albums. Still pretty good, though.

Frost is amazing. It sucks that he is unable to come to the U.S. ; ; (Unless something changed since i last looked)

That's a great song off the Roadrunner United CD if you haven't heard it, a bit different but Matt Heafy's(Trivium) vocals are amazing

i think he finally got his papers in order and he can come to the us im not positive tho
i hope to god he can tho because 1349 and Satyricon arent the same without him when they tour mainlky because they get dumb ass people like the slipknot drummer to try and replace him

God, his vocal track is so beautiful in this song.

As sad as it is, I didn't know about Roadrunner United, but I do now, so I thank you sir. It was worth breaking your silence in that way. And it said Michael Graves is part of it <3 <3 <3 He's my personal hero.

    They need Mike Patton though.

    I can't decide what's better, his vox or Coal Chamber's bassist's ass.

So in interest of that comment, I go to Google images and search.

    First I find this:

    I'm thinking she looks decent.

Then I'm brought to this site http://www.obiwan.com/ozzfest/photos/bands/cc/cc1.htm which shows Coal Chamber at OzzFest.

    http://www.obiwan.com/ozzfest/photos/bands/cc/cc039.jpg

    Suddenly not so decent...

Comparing the two, I think they look nothing a like and search more.. I find this. http://bunnybass.com/e-zine/girls/nadjapeulen.html

    This has this picture...

    Hot.

I've listened to Coal Chamber, I don't have any of their CDs. I'm not that much in to the music scene to really know people from a band.. Just the music.. Please clarify which is the bassist for Coal Chamber.
