Not sure what this thread is all about and could care less, but reading this made me lol and wonder wtf is Koyangi smoking? I wonder what clear-minded, sane monk would use a warwolf belt for Asuran Fists if they have Black Belt? I can understand switching it in for your Brown Belt during ws since you gain some dex (suppose chance to crit hits) and since the str is the same, but to give up str for dex is fucking retarded. The whole sushi vs meat thing is meh, but fuck ww belt if you have Black Belt, I make love to mine in a threesome each night with my Brutal Earring

More balanced STR and VIT for consistently higher asurans? It picks STR or VIT for each hit randomly, no?

    my monk is 18

  4. #24

Is a very low mod for it, it can be random and can pic Vit as one of them, the Dex would be a chance to crit on one of the 8 hits, but having the str of BB ensures that your base dmg would be better anyways, but then, eating sushi you will not have the needed attk to benefit from it all (guess its another obvious reason to eat meat <3 my Hedgehog pies). It still, for all accounts, odd to say the least, to use an inferior item when you have what could be considered the best waist piece in game for melee (until the day Ninurta's Sash is found that is, then I would say Black Belt is the second best, since only mnks can use it).

Since STR influence about every other Mnk stats (+dmg, base dmg, atk), I would say no.

    Edit]
    Was meant to Raineer

mod for asuran is 10% str 10% vit on EVERY hit, none of this "random" crap.

Same with blade:ku. It used to be thought it was a random stat modifier, but it's actually just really 10%str 10%dex.

    http://www.geocities.co.jp/Playtown-Part/6371/memo.html has more details.

In fact, it looks like they've even started to add the relic WS info...interesting stuff.

They could just restart, that seems to be an easier and more popular choice. Or that person could just continue to be good with high playskill and just earn some respect back. You didnt post real reason what happened so hard to reply :3.

So Ku is weak because it's accuracy with tp, like Asurian?

    or

    1) Create a mule and send everything to it
    2) delete your char
    3) create another mule with your char name
    4) Ask SE to restore your char and hope they can. You will have to change your name
    5) if this doesnt work, have fun leveling another char.
If the character with the name of your original character is on the same account, the recreation will fail (as far as I can remember).

Make sure that you create the character with the same name on a different account. thx
The most amusing part would be doing all of that, and then being found out because people just looked at their friendlist and saw you logged on a new char name.

The OP brings up an interesting thought. Can one ever be redeemed? It doesn't seem too likely. Most often, when minds have been made up about someone, they aren't likely to be changed. The stigma, rightly or wrongly obtained, will always be there.

To the point, due to the disconnection of humanity online, people are less likely to care, overall. The thought that "this person is bad" is enough. Given the socially-interactive nature of FFXI, if someone does develop a reputation, they are stuck with it, and therefore unable to progress.

Rerolling is one possibility, but there is so much in this game, that doing it all over is not exactly fun for some, and therefore not a realistic possibility.

This isn't just an online observation, either. People all over the world are like this. The current conflicts of the west vs. the mid-east are clear indicators. Both sides have misconceptions about the other, and as a result, hate and misinformation abound. It takes real courage and strength of character to reach across the divide and learn to drop what you think you know, and instead try to understand the other.

But that's a rare quality in the world, and therefore, an extremely rare quality here. Everyone screws up, makes mistakes, and does things that could be seen in a different light then was intended. You'd think this shared human quality would help bring us together, but it doesn't work that way.

So to the OP, I'd have to say that it's not likely that others will see you as redeemed. Even if you have changed, or even if the fault was never yours, those that have made up their minds won't be changed.

The only thing you can do, is learn from it. In the future, when you see the same happening to someone else, remember what you went through. Try not to judge on the basis of what one side presents. If the issue matters that much to you, actively talk to, and try to understand all sides. Perhaps you can help stop a situation before it destroys someone else.

I recently updated every single weapon skill on FFXIclopedia and included all their recent relic WS additions.

    Anyway, carry on.

Don’t flame back, make <3 and have babies.
What good comes from fighting? They state their opinion and you state yours, they flame you trying to make them self’s feel better and you worse. Don’t flame back over and over again that gets you no where.
If you don’t flame back and you don’t try to start shit up there might be a few people that stand up for you but it might be to late for ya ;x lol seen my post about dynamis qufim? I made a mistake and got flamed bad and I <3'd it and didn’t flame back and someone stood up for me even though it didn’t help at all to others lol but thanks Bkbahamut ^^ <3

Why does it say Earth Crusher is STR30% and STR30%? (instead of str+int)

Can one really be redeemed? Depends on the past offense and the context in which everything took place.

If we're talking about forum life, i.e. AngelKitty/Chocolate/whatever else it came up with, then the answer is no. Reroll enough times and maybe you'll get a shot at normalcy (if the original reasons you were hated for don't come back to bite you in the butt).

If we're talking about in game, actions speak louder than words. It'll take time for people to trust and believe in you, but redemption is possible (depending on the brevity of the situation). Memories run long, but as most everything else, much can be forgotten.

If that fails, be /emo, return to RL, move on to WoW, start over, or just go interact with some of the thousands of other people on your server...whatever floats your boat.

    This is a weird thread.

Theres like 4 or 5 posts that are on topic and seem to be of good stimulating conversation, and then like 2 pages of ninja/monk jibbajabba intersparsed.

Also, what the fuck are the ppl with like less then 10 posts ever having good conversation? I thought that if you were in double digits or less, every post had to be raving idiocy lol.
