Moths abdomens don't inflate and defalte though, this thing looks fuckng gross, I'd probably run away screaming if I saw it in person. If I was feeling really gutsy, I might throw something large at it, in an attempt to kill it.

thanks guys :D apparently a hummingbird moth, not sure which species it is to be exact. It looks like the one in the pic above, however my one was a darker orange.
