Back in third grade, my school was doing their annual fund raiser (this was the first time they'd actually done it, but it became an annual thing). The prizes were as follows:

Highest seller in the class: $5 gift certificate to McDonalds.
Highest seller in the grade: $25 gift certificate to our local mall.
Highest seller in the school: Super Nintendo Entertainment System

Me and this other gal were the two highest in the school, selling something around like $400 (both of our mom's worked at General Mills, and each of them took it to work for us XD) and they ended up giving out two SNES, which I was thankful for, because she outsold me by like... $10. When they announced my name though, I had a very similar reaction to that (not quite as drawn out, though). This was in front of the entire school, too.
