Cannibal Corpse's new album is really quite good!
I dont like Canibal Corpse. I never liked black or death metal, that's Amarok's thing. I like melodic metal, nu-metal, speed metal and hard core.
Dillinger, As I lay Dying, Bleeding Through, etc. = my taste
Canibal Corpse = not
BUT, I'm never too closed minded to listen. If you recommend a listen, I shall sir.
I only listen to Electric Wizard as of last week.
You listen to Linkin Park, and so do I. Let's just come out of the metal closet.
Google Video is really starting to suck, so much shit you gotta pay to see.
And there's no Poison the Well up. But it had some Alexisonfire and I hadn't listened to them in a year, forgot about them.
No From Autumn to Ashes either, who I've really gotten back into lately. Not the newest album (god was it a let down) but from 'Too Bad You're Beautiful' of course.
I found Meteora to be quite a good album when it first came out. /hidesOriginally Posted by Jerseyprophet
The lyrics are retarded as you read into more, but the production value on their albums are incredible and worth the price of admission if you ask me.
P.S. In Flames 4tw
Russta has opened my mind up to alot of different genres. Never, ever in my lifetime did I think I'd ever enjoy listening to a band like Opeth. (It's amazing music to workout to.) I have that to thank him for. Even though I've always been pretty open-minded about alot of music types, I just never gave myself time to enjoy that genre.Originally Posted by Jerseyprophet
Opeth, "Patterns in the Ivy" will make you smile, and then tear. So much beauty and so much suffering.
Thats cuz Opeth's works are such masterpieces that anybody can fall in love with them.
Holy shit, they still play?Originally Posted by Russta

Speaking of Opeth, anyone else find it funny that Isolation Years is more emotional than the entire Damnation album put together?
Still Life ftw.
I really liked Damnation :X It's great music to listen to while on a long drive or studying (or as nappy time music).
What about the stuff I gave you?Originally Posted by Lockecole

That wasn't anything new, just some good songs similar to what I listened to before.Originally Posted by Koyangi
