These are neat, I used to make Rube Goldberg Machines for the national rube goldberg contest at purdue. Won the regional contest at UT twice in 03, and again in 04, and won third place both years at the national contest =D. First year had to Crush a can and recycle it in 20 steps or more, and second year had to select and cast a ballet in a vote. These machines are good fun to make.

The little jingle is singing "Pythagoras switch" using the japanese pronunciations for both 'Pythagoras' and 'switch.'

For the one where there's someone singing throughout the machine, the song is actually describing the actions by all the objects moving around.

    Cute series.

Awesome, had to make something similar when I was in physics. I made my completly out of duct tape and some spare wood. Of course after I moved it, it took another 2 hours to recalibrate it to the proper angles and positions. Had to last for two minutes though.

    The little ball is rolling...
    The little ball is rolling...
The little ball just fell into a basket like structure and is swinging across to another track...
The little ball just hit a series of small to big balls and then another little ball...
The little ball just hit a magnet and its rolling around the magnet to another magnet...

Hmmm that song wouldn't work in english lol.
