Don't think this is actually true. Wing was hitting people outside of alliance on Gilgamesh tonight. Breath did not.

i can confirm that wing only hits people on the hate list. A whm that never joined the alliance, but cured from outside got hit. A sam that was in alliance and doing dmg, then disbanded was still getting hit. Everyone who did nothing at all to get hate did not get hit.

As SAM/THF in BD tonight, I continually was stunned by him, not being in the killing alliance... and as SAM/THF, no possible way for me to have accrued any sort of hate as if I were a mage and healing their tanks.

Eh. I'm not quite sure how I got on Fafnir's hatelist right after pop (I am in Deathmage's LS, we did not get initial claim). Personally took no action on the LS that claimed it, but I did get hit by wings. Can't say that someone else in my alliance didn't (I simply don't know) who I later cured, which may have triggered me getting hit.

Lockcole - the update did say that certain NMs were exempt from this new behavior.

We tested this on Asura.

As long as one person in the ally had hate on Fafnir, everyone in the ally will get hit by the AoEs. We started off not getting hit by any moves, had a BLM Cure 1 one of the tanks fighting Faf, and instantly Wing and Breath started hitting us.

For about 15 minutes Breathe/Wing did not hit us. After that, Breathe wiped 3/4 of our alliance.
