New Quest discussion (non-job)

Ya so theres some ppl that like doing the quests that just dont give the jobs (maybe good rewards... like i noticed the 2 shops that I found that sell Dice don't sell Evokers.. maybe from a quest perhaps?)

So ppl can help each other beat them and see rewards ^^;;

Current one im trying to do is "Got it all"

Tehf gives quest... she wants a vial of luminous water... talk to the girl by the North pier for first cutscene, then the Elv M dressed in all BRD JSE by Tehf, then the North pier girl again, and then Tehf...

Heres where I am stuck, she mentions a lady making the potion, I assume you must talk to her next, but I can't find her. Anyone find her at all yet?

Heres where I am stuck, she mentions a lady making the potion, I assume you must talk to her next, but I can't find her. Anyone find her at all yet?

In the same area as the BLU quest giver, walk around the lower lvl and you will get a CS. I'm stuck soon after this point again.

Start the quest in F-8, by talking to the Elvaan and the Mithra standing next to the post there, the Mithra will ask for "Luminous Water" (I think, going off memory here). This is your cue to go talk to the mithra in H-6, by the dock. You DON'T want the cutscene with the Elvaan rolling dice, talk to her again to get a CS where she says she thinks the "ornamented Elvaan" is cute. Go back and talk to the Elvaan, then go talk to the dock mithra again. Then, once again, return to the pigtail mithra by the post in F-8. Speak to her (and maybe the elvaan) until she tells you about an old woman who's making her a potion. You may have to talk to her or her elvaan friend again after this, the text you want to see is "I wonder how that old woman is coming along with my potion."

Run to the lower level of J-10, as you pass the elvaan in the Errant coat you should trigger a cutscene. After this CS, run back to the post in F-8 and talk to the Elvaan/Mithra again. After CS, you should be getting text-only answers from all three NPCs. To activate the next CS, zone out (and possibly wait an in-game day, I unlocked COR between these two parts). Then talk to the pigtailed mithra in F-8. She'll tell you about her trip and give you a reward.

NOTE: If for some reason I'm missing a step, the key thing to remember is aside from the bridge at J-10, the whole quest is 3 NPCs. Just rotate between them until you get a CS.

Description: A journal filled with years of Dkhaaya's research notes on the Olduum civilization. The pages are covered in incomprehensible drawings accompanied by Dkhaaya's scribbled musings.
- Not sure where to go next with this, but I didn't think about it too hard.

Has anyone done or gotten the Olduum quest? There is an Olduum ring that will make getting to Al Zhabi pretty snappy (I'm not diggin the prospect of lots of boatrides), I'm curious if that's the reward from the quest.

Edit: The Delivering the Goods quest gives a reward of 3 Imperial Bronze coins.

Edit: Its not a quest under menu, but Gajaad (J-6) in Alzhari asks for money, i gave him 1 bronze and it just added to a running total. no idea if this'll help for besieged or something else but be weary before handing over money for no reason lol

Also the Kid that wants the letters connects alot of the quests together. everyone that he sends you to for a letter has their own quest or is part of another.

depends, if you bring all 4 cards (from the cities) at one time, you get 1 silver (edit its mythril) coin. if you bring 3 you get 3 bronze, 2 = 2 i assume etc. (getting of less coings i'm going off what i read on another thread, i had 4)

one quest of running to find 7 NPC = 1 bronze
while 1 quest of talking to 3 NPC = 3 bronze

Mog locker upkeep is 1 bronze per week at 30 units (initial size).
Mog upgrade #1 (30->40) is 4 mythril.

You can convert IS points to coins at a rate of:

20->1 bronze
100->1 silver
200->1 mythril
1000->1 gold

IS points are earned in the same manner as CP; XP with "sanction" (aka Urgan Signet)

There is an NPC in Nashmau that offers converting coins downwards--he gives you 5 bronze for a silver, EG. Not sure what his other rates are.

There is probably a way to convert coins upwards.
