    Evergrey and Nevermore in nova

I know there are a few metal fans on these boards and I thought I'd share this with you all.

Nevermore and Evergrey did a one off at jaxx last night (sans In Flames, god bless), played a full 75 minute set each. It was a hell of a show :D

    A few pics of Evergrey

And of course Nevermore kicked ass

Yes that IS a Dethklok shirt

The gals taking pics really love chris broderick

aslo mid way through their set, Chris and Jeff had a little 'duel'

All in all one hell of a show, and damn that is a great vid too, one of the best shows I've been to for sure.

I love Nevermore. I've never felt so dirty asking for tickets to go see Disturbed just 'cause they were supporting.

    lmfao

Nevermore are one hell of a band, and I've gotta tell ya they are some of the nicest people I've ever met. Is that the only time you've seen them live?
edit: You'll be both pleased and depressed to know that they played Poison God Machine, and it kicked fucking ass.

Evergrey is awesome in concert, and awesome all together. I've never been a big fan of Nevermore though.

I thought them and evergrey made for a fucking excellent show. Evergrey has more lulls in their music but they're both great bands.

I saw them with.. Iced Earth I think a long time ago. Its where I got into Evergrey actually, they rocked the house. They really do make a good pairing, Nevermore's music just bores me and I can't get into it, unfortunately. However, I'll admit they are a very talented band.

In flames plays mostly stuff from Claymen and Reroute, but of course they do play their music from Come Clarity.

The best part about this show: NO IN FLAMES

It was just Evergrey and Nevermore and two local opening bands. It kicked some hardcore ass. Thank god I didn't have to listen to 1.5hrs of In Flames and only 30 mins of the good shit.

Uh as for the rest of the tour they're playing a lot of stuff off their two most recent releases I believe, and nothing off jester race.

I'v only seen Nevermore in concert once ever, with the Dimmu Borgir North American tour, featuring as well Hypocrisy and Children of Bodom.

All bands were excellent exept Nevermore. they performed so poorly it was hilarious. Singer wearing his cowboy straw hat + plain red shirt, it did NOT blend in. They tried starting a trash 2-3 times without success, peoples just weren't into it.

That was the first/last time I have heard/seen Nevermore music.

I swear, their bit lasted a good hour and it was painfull, everyone wanted em to leave to make place for Dimmu

Funny, I saw them in that tour and they played great. If you don't like the music that's one thing but I've never seen Nevermore give a poor performance.

Disturbed delayed the tour so I still haven't actually seen them.

No, I mean it wasn't just me. I'v talked with peoples during the entry lineup that adored that band and afterwards they were disapointed with the presentation.

Draw your own conclusion, just saying it looked pretty bad.
