The chains turned out to be his downfall (no pun intended). He exerted too much energy trying to get them off. He probably could have made it otherwise.
shoulda done the 9min thing before spending a week underwater
No, the week underwater was a good idea. His body was used to the added pressure of the water by then. To suddenly submerse yourself and expect to be able to hold your breathe for any extreme length of time (writers block, I blame ADD, but you get the idea)
on the promo it said failure means death, and he is very much alive

Anyone can do that stupid trick where he floats.
Calf-raises anyone?
He does that stupid salt water ball, ice cube, as publicity stunts, woopdeedoo.
I would have paid to see that.Originally Posted by Surealistic

Him and his "magic" fucking sucks. LOL @ him failing his water ball thing.
I think that his failure was intentional. It's more likely that this was just a publicity stunt, he will probably to do the "trick" again over the summer and next time break the record.Originally Posted by Tengaar
Hell, it isn't even a trick; he just sat in a fish bowl. And does anyone really give a turtle squirt about him?
No, I don't really understand how he gets all this press for doing things like this. It is a publicity stunt and he just acts dramatic. I think he is just a failed actor that couldn't get into drama school at his local community college.Originally Posted by Septimus
