I dunno about FFXIII, female lead character = lose imo, I'm old fashioned like that I guess. The game seemed a bit FFX-2 ish, although it looks significantly better(FFX-2 was trash). FFXIII has potential, I just gotta see more of it before I cast any verdict.

I haven't played FFVI yet, I lended it to someone and now it won't play cause it's full of scratches. So the only real experience i have with female lead characters is FFX-2 and eh... yeah I thought that sucked. Like I said, I think FFXIII has potential, just gotta get some more info on it.

Could a 150$ tag hurt Wii? I mean, every NIntendo fanboy/girl will buy it of course, but with a low price tag could people say that it's "not good enough if it's only 150$ when ps3 is 600$"

Might be an incredibly stupid question, but it was the first thing that popped into my head after the fact that the one console I want to get this year isn't going to rape my wallet.

Demo units. People won't think they're getting a cheap product if they can play it two feet away. Nintendo hasnt explicitly stated they're doing demo units but they've done a ton of demo units for the DS and their E3 tagline is 'Playing is Believing' so I'm pretty sure we're gonna see lots of demo units.

If the Wii is 200$ they're going to crush Sony and Xbox. Everyone and their mother will buy one. I know I will and I hated Gamecube. But the idea of using 1 hand to control the character and the other as like a realisitic gun is orgasmic to first person shooter lovers.

Personally I think Wii is going to get alot of FPS back, and it wont be long before MS designs their own motion sensor controller.

Why FPS? How many "Keyboard and Mouse" people do you know? It's basically the same thing now, exept pointed at your screen.

More like parents are going to see $600 and say fuck it, Johnny's getting a Wii.

Ya ya I know the average gamer is over 18, but still... I doubt anyone follows that line of reasoning unless they're new to videogames (in which case, they'll still probably gravitate to Wii because of the design).

yeah, it was just a thought that came to mind. From working at Gamestop for two years, the parents actually would ALWAYS ask me why GCN was so much cheaper and if it was worseand blahblah.

But in the end they did always buy one instead of a PS2 or XBOX.
