First time ever, I managed to get 700 IS today. New tactic is melee BLM spamming drain, frost, rasp, drown and the occasional flare.

Someone told me drain does more than our Teir 4's. Don't let square hear this they'll probably nerf it too.

6 when youre not eating a dmg nerf, and 99.9% of your spells go unresisted.

not 6 when you're eating a brutal dmg nerf (1/4 dmg base I believe they said), and most of your spells wind up getting resisted on top of it.

Cure 3 is the way to go on BLM. Cure and Raise. Only time I hit 700 with nuke only was both time before maintenance when you could ES+aga 10 mob at the same time when they zoned in

Yes, that was the only target hit. This ever so useful 350 MP spell ignores staves and magic attack bonus, but apparantly not magic defence bonus and the like. Looks like 80%.

It's nice to see they nerfed the spell against the only mobs it could be used on, the one with high magis resist.


I've a question, when monster use it against you, can you resist it? I got it for 865 dmg or something the other day, and I don't have any magic resist for sure.

I've been hit for like 999 or 998 before by it. So yeah, it's resistable, somehow. But it's physical damage when used on players, like earth staff will reduce the damage, but shell won't. Apparantly when a player uses it, it's the other way around. A lot of BLU spells are nerfed hard like that it seems.

I'm pretty sure a mamool hit me the other day for 800 dmgs, but I heard people say 1000 needles can't be resisted other than magic def%

I think people are confusing BST/MOB physical 1000 needles with BLU magical 1000 needles. Physical 1000 needles can't be resisted, BLU magical 1000 needles can.

So Amigo will always do 1000 dmg to kirin, a BLU probably will get more than a few resists.

On that note, your images proves nothing Flux, other than BLU 1000 needles is magical, and blu magical spells take it in the ass just like blm spells.
