It was only in January that about a 20 dollar BP rewards card was able to fill my tank to full.
Suddenly the $1.73 we pay in Sweden doesn't seem that bad.
funny thing, did you know that three weeks ago we were paying less for gas than we did 20 years ago? And only 1-2 weeks ago we were paying the same prices.
Yea, go to Venezuala. Cheap gas, nothing to do there but smoke, drink, and complain that politics are corrupt and don't care for the people at all.
Btw, interenet sucks down there.
Just paid $3.69 / Gallon for the cheap shit (87) here.
wtfx...
No wonder Ken Livingstone was sucking Hugo Chavez's dick this week.
im surprised its so cheap in shanghai, does china have any oil?
maybe its cheap because despite the ridiculous population there arent as many cars. bikes ftw.

nearing 3.50 in so cal
In canada just filled up my tank for $85.00. $1.04/lire here, which is bullshit because we are exporting so much gas into the US, while we should be using it for ourselves. I dont understand why we are selling a product at a low price but then importing it at a higher price.
I'm gonna go to Venezuela and come back with DRUMS of gas. Then keep a couple for my self, then sell the rest for 2.50 a gallon and make a killing. Who's in?
oh yeah might be 2.81Originally Posted by Eternus
farm alberta? once price gets high enough?
i saw some right wing calm the ppl down type television program on abc saying how the world never gonna run out of oil, lol. cited alberta field as an example--once the consumer price gets high enough will become profitable to turn it into oil.
from the left wing, i hear we're gonna reach "peak oil" in about 9 years. ie. can never produce as much oil as at that time. so gdp and oil production will diverge: because countries require ~2-3% growth per year, if oil production decreases by 2%, that's 4% total decrease, then 6%, then 8% per year etc decrease in overall expenditure. especially significant for oil-dependant nations.
overall i believe capitalism will come up with an alternative. so who gives a fuck ?
