Aurik, tell MNK#2 to quit eating sushi in the Mire, it makes baby Jesus cry (unless he was lower 70s, maybe 70 itself trying to get 75 easier in which case he/she's forgiven).

Amen to that... I'm normally a sushi eater in exp and I even eat meat here. :/

He was eating sushi, I didn't have the heart to tell him off.

I maintained almost 91% overall accuracy that pt with sis kebabis and wearing rajas instead of my second hqsniper...

Regardless, even if we hit harder, we won't hit above our damage cap, like a MNK will on bones. So its different.
I don't get what you're saying. If Jnuns and Hatis and such are just weak overall, then you'd expect to see a jump in the monks' damage corresponding to that of the warrior's here. Clearly, that didn't happen. The monks are doing less damage here, meaning the Jnuns have a higher DEF value, whereas the warrior is doing more damage. It seems that the slashing member of the group clearly got some help in the form of a bonus on the Jnuns.

I don't see where the damage cap has anything to do with it.
I'm telling you I'll never hit higher then 189-190 (cap of DMG:50 Axe) on a Jnun, no matter what. Whereas MNKs will cap out at like 210+(? not sure of exact #) on weak to blunt mobs when their normal cap is like 190 on normal mobs. So in that aspect, we don't get a bonus. Wether or not our minimum damage cap is raised on them, or somehow we break through their defence easier, that may be. But we don't get an increased overall maximum DMG cap like Piercing and Blunt gets.

Even when eating meat? (Not trying to start that old debate again, btw)

I only ever eat meat at that camp, so yes, Meat, Minuet, Berserk, on a Tough mob, can't hit higher then 190. Hell I can go to a TW mob, and never hit higher than that. Never have, short of mobs that have skewed damage (limbus mobs, Limit 2 Hound, Quitrib etc).

Doesn't really explain why slashing damage was 15% higher than on imps.

I've noticed high damage on the Doom Toad family, and it makes sense logically. Thin, rotting flesh gets cut easily. Unfortunately, weapon bash is blunt so I cant get a nice, clean number for it.
