Excalibur Additional Effect

I found this to be mildly amusing. The guy is using Excalibur btw. Was this because of the fact that it was a critical hit that the Effect did so much? I wasn't aware the Addtl Effect damage was scaled up for criticals though.

might have just been because it was a besieged mob and its resistances are lower or higher to things? i dunno

Normally yes, but the ones in Beseiged seem to take normal damage. If you look at the screenshots, those are pretty standard numbers. THF with Blau Dolch (me) doing a peak of 44 on a single hit with double Minuets. So I don't think these are taking double damage in general. Unless Excalibur Additional Effect damage is bugged against Beseiged mobs or something, /shrug.

Seems like 2x dmg to me. Today I was hitting the Lamia for like 50 and Qutrub for 80-100 in Besieged.

Excalibur additional effect does physical damage, based on the mob type, and ignores defense completely. It's absolute shit on elementals, since they take so little damage. Qutrubs take double damage, so the additional effect was doubled.

Besieged mobs are considerably higher level than what you'd normally fight, so it's not surpising that your damage "seemed" normal. They are still taking double damage. I had never hit a 1500 Jin without songs on something above my level before Besieged.

Oh I know, but the reason you see 800ish sometimes and 30ish other times at full HP is because of the mob type.

Yeah the additional effect proc is proportionate to your current HP(hmm says right on weapon), is Katsume a Galka with like 2200+ life? lol

ninja Edit: Wizerd is right Mob type takes into account as well, regardless thats some pretty cool dmg.
