Every time someone touches the Ebon Panels in sea, Dark Rider appears in a ToAU area. That's why his location and pop conditions seem so random.

My guess would be that he pops every 24 hrs. While I have no evidence to support it, that's pretty much the typical SE thing to do. Maybe we're not meant to fight Rider...maybe his little henchmen? I can't imagine how you'd fight rider unless you happen to have your HNM shell in the area.

Well, can anyone attest to how strong it is? As of now we don't know whether it takes a full alliance or maybe just a party of the right members

Considering chi blast did 0 dmg. I would say he has 100%dmg reduction. If it's meant to be killed, you probably have to kill his pet first or something.

AS far as I know, there is no drop related to him i the .dat tho. He could always drop old stuff I guess

I am starting to think he's just there for SE to make us wonder and later on will be incorporated into the storyline? Maybe you need a certain piece of gear to damage him/not take full dmg from his attacks? He sounds extremely powerful atm, too powerful to be killed?
