I'm worried that this chocobo rental is going to take imperial currency like everything else in the expansion. I wouldn't mind it as much if imperial currency was stored like gil, but having to keep 4 (or 2 at the very least) different denominations of currency on you to do anything is really obnoxious.

It could take IS directly too ... but it seems unlikely to me that renting a chocobo will be as simple as just handing over gil.

Could just stop by AH/currency guys when you are heading toward chocobo stable. Depending what they add there, chocobo might not be that useful. It would have been nice for exploring at first, but I never needed one for the last month.

walking out to Laypoint for a Lv 55 PT sucks. you don't need one but they will definitely help.

Chocobos is a 2nd rate mode of transportation but it's still better than walking.

Not saying they are useless. I'm just saying their use is very limited since there is close to no reason to go in those area for now There is a few xp camp where they could be useful between 55 and 70 but that's it, unless you still need the hoofprint and staging point.

Having a chocobo is better than not having a chocobo, I jsut hope they will give u a reason to walk in those map now (NM, more quest, ..etc)

At least it'll help with people still needing footprint lol...walking around Waj on foot every day looking for that was nothing short of terrible.

Check if your home city owns a region touching jeuno (there's 3,decent chance)

4 regions actually, but with ToA right now 2 are beastmen and 2 are San d'Oria. I used the rings all the time to get to outpost to get to king camps, but now I find outposts aren't as useful. I think right now Gilgamesh has Vahzl, Tavnazia and 2 of the 4 regions around Jeuno under beastman control.

Where are the rumors the af for the new jobs wont be released until September? Most reasonable levelers have reached the 50s by now (getting PUP to 53 has been fun but very difficult). It seems to be the PERFECT time for af to be released.

Damn, this is one good update. I still don't think it will truly remove congestion in Whitegate and Al Zhabi till they add a better method of getting there though.

Yeah now the only reason to go to Jueno is Limbus. Good job SE. Mog locker stuff is hot though. Still wondering about the job balancing fixes and/or merit additions. Hopefully they add a little more end game shit too. Pretty sure SE will open up a few more tiers of assault as well.

It is only the second update note for the upcoming patch. The first update note kicked huge quantities of ass. The second note, while not introducing new abjurations or HNM, is still really nice. Who does not like more convenience? Why hallo thar Mr. More-space-to-store-crap, how are you today? And there is your good friend, Ms. Able-to-access-your-mog-locker-anywhere, what a fine day it is.

Yes, it is stuff they could have put in before, but it is also stuff that they did not have to do at all. Does everyone immediately check out their horses' teeth when they get them as gifts?

It's nice to see they're making it possible to get into your locker outside of Aht Urghan. Such a pain in the ass if you forget some gear for a job in your locker and you just warped out of Al Zabhi, but I still want to see the merit additions!
