    I need music.

I've been going crazy and getting a shitload of more music...

    I need some ideas.

Current bands I've been downloading and listening to.... in other words, here's my genre.

    Atreyu
    Sevendust
    Soilwork
    Avenged Sevenfold
    Flyleaf

Alright so, ideas? Preferrably underground so that I know it'll be new. I'll post responses as I check shit out.

None that I can think of >_<; I had some on the server that I was hosting for a while, but was running low on bandwidth so took all of it out.

Erm...... I'm looking at YouTube right now and I'm nto finding anything there either.

Also try King's X, and almost any of Les Claypool's groups if you're open minded, some really really good music as far as musicians go.

Main Claypool: Primus, Frog Brigade, Sausage, Solo work.

Lots of great bands named already.

Here's to add to the great list:

    At the Drive-In
    Sparta
No Knife (not metal but really really good music)

If you like experimental music or like to get high:

    The Mars Volta (1st album)
    Tool

    Uh, just off the top of my head;

Let's see - if you're more into soilwork style stuff, but it looks like you enjoy cleaner vocals, a few bands come to mind.

    Darkane
    Nevermore
    Meshuggah
    Strapping Young Lad
    Devin Townsend Band

These might be worth checking out for you, also perhaps Arch Enemy or Carcass.

    Some other bands you may enjoy;

    Katatonia
    My Dying Bride
    Susperia

sadly I feel like I'm just not coming up with anything though, but that should get you started.

Oh yeah, and you're probably going to like some of the more common metal acts like In Flames, Lamb of God, or Killswitch Engage

    30 Seconds to Mars
    Breaking Benjamin
Hawthorne Heights (only a few of their songs, the rest are lol)
    Lacuna Coil
    The Used
    >>>>>> As I Lay Dying <<<<<<
AFI (new CD, Decemberunderground, good stuff)
Story Of The Year (their latest CD, complete opposite of their first album)
Thursday (oldish, but they still have some goodies)
    Thrice
Alexisonfire/Moneen (the latest CD they just released covering eachother's songs)

All I can think of off the top of my head.

EDIT: Just checked your original post, and these, with the exception of AILD, are all lighter than what you're currently listening to. So, to narrow down the AILD songs to the good ones: Confined, Through Struggle, Reflection, Empty Hearts, 94 Hours, Elegy, Undefined, Forever, Meaning in Tragedy, Morning Waits, The Darkest Nights. Some of those songs are on older albums, but most are from their newest one, Shadows Are Security.
