1) You'd be surprised at how many Americans are.
2) You agree that he's stupid...he's a U.S. Senator. Logically, without any basis of statistics, and not caring about who actually did vote for him, the position of a senator is given to someone who is intellectually superior in most cases, or better advised to make decisions for the greater community. If this guy holds that position and is supposed to be intellectually superior (again, logically), then any/all Americans who did vote for him are not only as stupid as him, but more stupid.

Why do I get the feeling Mekami's one of those people who puts a towel on his head and says "Durka durka" to make fun of Middle Easterns -- which is ok right, because they're more stupid than Americans!
