prudence was fun the few times i did it with Nora bob.

Jailer of Prudence is, without question, the worst fight in FFXI. My linkshell is pretty Sea heavy and I've fought Jailer of Prudence seven times since joining a few months ago seeing just one Virtue and one Torque. On one of the fights they warped to a Black Mage, did Sinuate Rush in unison and wiped pretty much the entire alliance. Luckily, we were able to salvage the fight - for a Prudence Rod.

Another fight, the second decided to dissapear at 24% and leave a Prudence Rod in everyones log five seconds later. That one was cool!

And as if the Jailer of Prudence fight being hard enough and not dropping it's Virtue was bad enough, it then took us six Jailer of Faith's before we got his Virtue to try again. I've killed Jailer of Faith nine times in under a week before but our linkshell is now completely maxed out on Faith Torques so that's kinda nice.

I'm sure you probably do, but we've found a drastic improvement in Sea drop rates with a TH4 THF as an active participant in the fight. None of that last-hit bullshit, but having them actually engage the mob and live through the fight has made Sea considerably more bearable for us. Maybe we're just lucky, though.

It is Solar, we have a couple Torques and a decent supply of Virtues from it now.

Nothing gay about an NM that takes 1 minute and has 100% drop of my favorite item. I will agree with Alastor Antlion, that guy is a homo. My pop we passed the 30 minute mark killing Executors without pop and almost wiped out. We did wipe out on another one that night, but it's no big deal. You can make traps easily on-site.

Any of the jailers in sea are automatically gay given the drop rates on everything and anything good. Take your pick on them.

As for the single gayest fight in FFXI, it would be a toss up between jailer of love and Jormungand. Jailer of Love is a 3 hour boring ass marathon of magic bursting, the only skill needed is watching to see what element it's on. The last time we went I wanted to die of boredom, the fight is sooooo freaking slow.

As for jorm, his location makes him bad enough. Looking at 45 minutes to 1.5 hours to organize alone, even for the most well-structured linkshells. Add in fast cast blizzaga3, triple roars, the fact that melees are more useless on the adds than they are on Jorm, and tack on the fact that his drops are complete crap, I'd say Jorm is the winnar.

THF pops kurrea then flees it to the bridge leading to safehold. BLM's Blizzaga 3 it then it runs off to drink its soup. It comes back, PLD gets it attention, and blm's Blizzaga3 it again. Doesn't take very long.

BLM BLM RDM
RDM pops it, BLM stuns it AFTER it starts casting whatever opening spell. This changes its target thus interrupting the cast. The rest is just a 20-30 minute fight.



Gration
RNG and SAM's with fully merited meditate timers make ideal DD's here, since you cant get intimidated on WS's or ranged attacks.




Sorry, but these "gay" NM/HNM's you speak of are ridiculously easy.

I like Spirits Within spam on Gration. Build TP on surrounding monsters. Also ridiculously easy, though will take longer than ranged attack spam.

lol Kurrea can be done with loads of Melee as well...unbuffed hes pretty soft. Hes just not that hard if you toss GOOD DDs in (any job, just well equipped).

Yeah, I was actually going to add that onto my Prudence rant but didn't.

The Shen for my Reverend Mail took three hours yet I've done runs that were over in 30 seconds. I've also been involved in a fight with Kurrea where we just gave up after an hour and times where he died in a few minutes.

Golden-tounged Culberry is bad but he's not really in the same league as Shen and Kurrea. He's always gonna take a while but if you're flawless you can avoid any deaths.

I kinda want to list Shikigami Weapon too. I know the fight in itself is a joke but the camping is so tense and claiming it is gay.

My old first LS had over 40 executioners pop to the point where we eventually were overwhelmed by about 10 up at the same time, and we started to wipe.

Then, while we were having everyone 2hr and try to zerg the executioners dead, BAM, alastor. Right as we were about to kill the spawner.

What makes it worse is we had done all of our member's runs sucessfully and were doing a run for a good friend of the shell just out of being nice, and they lost their trap I felt bad so I bought one back for her though

They did realize that if you don't give Feeler TP, it won't spawn more antlions, right?
