It's a remake of the old gameboy game Picross, realllly addicting.

To play simple shade in the correct squares. The numbers in the rows and columns give hints as to how many squares in a row are shaded for that particular row or column.

Example: The number 15 means that all 15 squares are shaded, but a number series like 7 2 would mean that somewhere on that column/row 7 squares in a row are shaded, then somewhere after those 7 there are 2 more shaded squares.

The numbers are always in order so if you saw 1 3 4 the 1 shaded has to come first, followed by a series of 3 then the 4.

Edit: Number 2 is a whole hell of a lot easier to start with than number 1.

This is a good way to start level 2. Notice how it's much much much easier than number 1 because it has a lot of 15's and 14's which make things a whole lot easier.

Also note how you can click the numbers to slash them so you know you have already used them.

Ooo this is pretty fun. The numbers on the side help a ton if you check them off when you're assured there's no other way to place your marks.

Also not that you can shift+click to mark a square with a big X if you know it can not possibly be shaded.

Oh and remember, if the number is 8 or above you are able to shade at least 1 square no matter what...think about it.

Once you get how the game work, with the Cross and the Case, it goes pretty fast.

Yeah but it's still addicting. Realizing that a number of 8+ means you are guranteed a shade makes it a whole lot easier.

Fun game, reminds me of the logic puzzles I'd get in school sometimes.

Lylie you should try out http://www.griddlers.net/

It's like picross on crazy, introducing things like multiple colors and 30x30(or more) grids. And it also has "triddlers" which is like picross with 3 directions instead of 2.

Apparently if you can complete the multi ones it makes a really pretty picture....but would take days to complete.
