    Can BST charm charmed players?

Heard this on the rumor mill...which we all know is about as reliable as the weathermman. Haven't had a chance to test it out. But if a player is charmed by a mob, can a BST charm said player and make them a pet? Would make Yovra fights 100x more entertaining.

Any BST in here try this?

I'm pretty sure a charmed player would be considered a humanoid. All humanoids can't be charmed.

Something that is a pet of something else cannot be charmed.

Closest thing to being able to charm a player is charming yourself.

You can only do it as bard and while fighting Jailer of Fortitude, by casting Maiden's Virelai on Jailer of Fortitude before its 'ghrah pets are dead so the song is reflected. Even then, technically, it's Jailer of Fortitude charming you. Either way, it's fun, until the melee start hitting you

Dark Shot, Blizz 3, Frenetic Rip > The last Bard that thought it was funny.

If a BST has a charmed pet, fighting something with Charm (like say, Xolotl) their pet can be charmed, and turn red, instead of blue, and can be attacked.

Colibiris are charmable, so I guess, if Virelai failed, it should naturally return the spell. It does it with Elegy, so I don't see why Virelai would be differen't. I'll go test it out.

No, that's not right. Even remotely. I fight things that can charm my pets all the time, they do 'not' go red.

Lol oh so wrong - days of corse farming showed their Charm TP move will have no effect on BST pets.

I saw this while doing Xolotl with my LS about a year and a half ago. Perhaps it's unique to a Corse's TP Charm, but I garuntee you, it was red.

Maybe the bst got charmed which turned the pet against you.

No, it just auto-releases. Your avatars dont die, they get automatically dismissed.

Jugpets vanish, charmed pets just go about their pre-charmed lives.

Colibiri can indeed Charm you. If they resist, they'll cast it right away. If it suceeds, when they uncharm they'll cast it.

Didn't expect to see it work, but theory prevails!
