We went 5/6 on compliments to the chef. It always uses the hate reset move immediately after the hypno thingy sleepga. Leeching current appears to be ae drain. Keep the mages out of the stupid belch range and it's easy enough. Dropped an orobon meat each time, 2 water4, quake, 2 behemoth horns, 2 dragon talons, 1 luminium ore, and some merrow scales, icarus wings/random stat potions and a chocobo egg each time. 2 katawhori (sp) kabuto and a bitter belt.

22 dragon talons on AH by the time we got back to sell.

About to go in now with 4 key items. Update in a few.

-Hypnic Lamp-Sleeps you if you're facing it
-Leeching Current-AoE dmg, about 200
-Seismic Tail-High damage AoE but blinkable(took 2-3 shadows each time). About 1k if not blinked.
-Deathgnash-Hate Reset, puts you at 1 hp.
-Seaspray- ~ 200 dmg, causes slow.
-Abominable Belch- Paralyze, Plague(10tp/tic), and Silence

Blm Dc'd mid fight, we wiped at like 3% >_> Ended up winning with 9 seconds left after RR and healing, lol.

I went with my PT without knowing what to expect and we went 6/6 wins under 10 mins each fight.

-Hypnic Lamp is an AOE sleep that sleeps things within a small circle around it.
-Leeching Current did about 300-400 dmg to me when I fought it. Nin/War.
-Seismic Tail never did that much Dmg to me, maybe around 500 if not blinked. Nin/War with Arhats+1. It'll knock you back if you have 1-2 shadows and aren't able to blink it. It can take 2-3 shadows as well if you are able to blink it.
-Deathgnash was done after Hypnic Lamp, but it does not put you at 1HP. It does around 1000-1100 Dmg and resets hate. Ignores Shadows, but does not wipe them.
-Seaspray did around 300 dmg to me, caused Slow which will over-write haste.
-Abominable Belch does Para, Plague, and Silence. Line attack.

We didn't end up with any D.Talons. Just Horns and Ores. ; ;

ISNM 60: Making a Mockery

Did this ISNM twice today. Only won once

You fight one "Mocking Colibri" in the Jade Spelucher. A very small arena.

Hits for seemingly random (within reason) damage. 40-50 on a Paladin with Criticals for 250-300.

Uses all Colibri WSes, also has the "Mimic" effect. Can instant-cast ANY spell cast upon it. and I mean instantcast


Heres the gimmick: He uses an AoE ability called Wisecrack. This is AoE Charm.

This ability also gives him a potent Regen. I mean VERY Potent. Went from 5% to 20% after a short charm.

Also, the first player to hit him after uncharmed will lose all their TP (or so I observed anyway.....It was weird, my TP would just go down for no reason after hitting him once after charm, and he hadn't used Feather Tickle.).

No idea on amount of HP. Fairly easy battle though.

Drops were:
Choco Egg
Aero IV
Orichalcum Ore
Deadeye Gloves (RACC+6, slow +5%. When paralyzed: RACC+10)
Polyflan
Agi. Potion

Setup was PLD WHM RDM DRK DRK THF. Won once, lost once (after an unlucky Critical for 250 + Pecking Furry for like...a lot.)

Immune to Silence, Sleep, possibly lullaby too. I'm going to say immune to Gravity too, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

You always lose TP after charm, windowers TParty is bugged in that it shows you have TP until you attack again Unsure if the TP moniter does the same though, never look at it much

Never knew you lost TP after Charm....I've really only been charmed in LAmia 13 and never noticed it.

I think its special in this BC though, because it shows a weird animation when I hit it.

And it only occurs until after I hit it. So it takes away the TP I just got too.... :/

Horde the first set of pops.
Cast CHR etudes on yourself.
Sleep the next set of pops.
Cast CHR etudes on yourself.
Sleep again if you're team isn't fast enough, other wise win!

I haven't been resisted yet doign this.
