For me, after I'd gotten home nation ability and used NQ Taru, the next time I tried to use HQ one, he wouldn't do business with me (~8hrs later). I zoned and tried again, and he took my money (to Jeuno only). Time after that had home nation available again.

Ill only bite if the fee remains free after the 4th time for forever.

It's not free, he said no CHANGE. It's a silverpiece everytime.

Charge, Change, almost the same. Oh well, thats what happens when you dont pay attention.

Bleh @ this then, anything that I have to keep paying for doesnt appeal to me at all.

Personally I don't see why people have a problem with this. If you don't want to pay for the Taru service, don't! I'm enjoying my trips to windy for a silverpiece (Transferred 10 gold to a stack of silver), and the time it saves me is worth a lot more than the 500k I spent on the stack of silver.

If Aspi makes an early showing and pops on day 3 (no one camps it, they just send ToD mule out), chances are that if you take the route of "switch to whm, vahzl, OP to your home nation, run to your mog house, switch jobs (get gear if applicable), run back to OP npc" instead of "switch jobs (get gear if applicable), pay 8k, run to OP npc", you wont be fighting it.
