Is anyone able to Datamine more closely to find out what the BLU items to trade for AF are from the AH, before everyone finds out(by JP midnight?) and AH gets sold out/prices gouged high and post the dialogue?

<item marker bla bla>
already tried
; ; so many BLU's now, the items will be sold out of the AH, and the synth mats will prolly go up too, I can foresee prices much worse than what the COR's are seeing.
Honestly, just fucking use common sense.
The whole set is blue. -Wamoura Silk/Cloth
The whole set has golden adornments. -Gold ingot/chain
The hands are seemingly covered in metal. -Gold/Steel sheet
The body is adorned with blue jewels. -Sapphires
The pants look stiff. -Marid/Karakul leather.
It's a bit expensive for a complete guess but I can guarantee you it'll be something like this.
While easy in the effort department, I'm still bitter about having to pay for first Artifact gears... *sigh*
PUP Hands: Platinum Sheet, Marid Leather, Wamoura Cloth, Rainbow Thread (250k+ish)
PUP Body: Ruby, Wamoura Cloth, Moblinweave, Scarlet Linen Cloth (120k~ish)
The pieces' usefulness seemingly reflected their value in ingredients...
Meh I think this part of the update gets two thumbs down. they should have made it some rare/ex items like limit 1 at worst case....rather have it parallel older AF quest thoughOriginally Posted by miokomioko
I'm mostly irritated about being forced to wait 3 rl days at least to collect the late-implimented gear I've almost outgrown already.
not to mention the fee:
AF 4: 1 imp. mythril coin
AF 5: 1 imp. gold coin
AF 6: 2 imp. gold coins...
I've decided the af for cor outside of the hat isn't worth the money at this point since I'm already 75. Hands suck, feet are outdone by marine boots (hume ftw), and I already have the Pahluwan body. If I get these pieces it'll be to have the full set on while I afk in town during my work hours >.>
On the bright side, it does removing items from the market made by crafters.
The coins should only bother low levels hitting level 60 for the first time.
Even if you don't join exp parties like me, a gold coin is like 2-3 Besiegeds and a maybe a "Finding Faults" or two.
Where did you find out about his "item trade" af person? And whats his location?
Same person for AF Boots quest, no?Where did you find out about his "item trade" af person? And whats his location?
For PUP, after I finished my AF3 with the taru in whitegate, I wandered around across the courtyard from him, still on the upper level, there was a mithra in a blessed briualt(sp?) who didn't look familiar and she said her family, for generations, made puppetmaster clothing and then gave you the option to pick which AF piece you would like made. For PUP, it was Body, Hands, and Feet (legs = AF2 and hat = AF3) and only after you make the decision of which piece you want made, she tells you the 4 ingredients and the service charge of imp. currency. It's exactly the same way getting automaton frames works... if you've ever done that. This works the same way for Corsair and Blue Mage, but they have different NPCs that make their AF.
Pros:
-no crowded zones and competing for pulls for getting some annoying drop with every other person after the same AF piece
-makes use of otherwise semi-useless crafted stuff like moblinweave
-no hunting obnoxiously sporadic coffer keys.
-you can look at and choose which piece you want right then and there
Cons:
-sucks for those who can't afford the materials
-need to wait until Japan's midnight for your piece to be completed, so no full AF set until you do that 3 times.
-uncreative lol
-crafters hiking prices up, BLU materials most likely will go through the roof in another day when most people finish AF3. PUP, not so popular, didn't really have that problem yet.
