How many people quitting?

I'm not, I know not to expect alot from SE. But It seems like alot of people go update to update with high hopes, and apparently this has been the last straw for many. I already know of several friends of mine quitting, just wondered if this is the general trend or the exception. I dont plan on quitting but at the same time I dont blame the people who are quitting either. If only SE worked as hard on the game as we do playing it eh?

You see, for everyone but THF this update fucking blew ass, and it ruined many parts of the game.

Getting around ToAU area is a chore solo
Hydra's drops are shitty as fuck
Cerberus Av Draws-In people on the wall
ISNMs are going to kill the market for several expensive items
3/5 of the new jobs' AF is completely in the hands of greedy crafters
Wamoura suck
Soulflayers suck
Most Category 2 merits suck
The new gear sucks
Ulli sucks worse than it did before

So I can understand why someone would quit.

The only thing this update lacks is a Sealed Door. But, there's still the chance we'll get one when the storyline is continued in a week or so.

Snake eye and Hydra mail? Even if they're used for something else, there isn't a damn thing in the .dat files for an item that should be worthy to drop from a monster like that.

Websense owns me on 99% of the FFXI sites so I can't look up stats for most items in the game.

Hydra mail might be useful for a solo dragoon.. maybe. Snake eye is a boomerang with a latent effect of 5 STR. But, to attain that you need to eat a 20hp/tick poison so it makes it completely useless.

I think it's safe to say that Serket drops better shit than Hydra.

If you notice first thing I said is im not quitting, I still have same goals I had before the update, nothing has changed for me. I knew id catch flack from people hoping to be able to come in and act like Im fluxing. I know one JP player and one NA player quitting, they didnt say this update was the reason, but Id think a new expansion and update for said expansion would make people want to stick around and enjoy the new stuff.
