Not that I necessarily agree with him, but this could make it even harder to obtain the new attachments. All the PUP who need it would be out camping them for weeks, and of course, you would have people whoring them to sell for profits to the IGEers on the AH.

SE kind of had the right idea with the ENM, but for the love of god, they should in this instance increase the drop rate.

Well, if the NM was like Jody and popped every 2-3 hours, then thats still almost 8-10 pops a day. If it is camped, the market would be filled and eventually stabilize. I'd hate for gilsellers to make money but that happens with all mobs alas.

Honestly, I don't think the time limit is necessarily the issue, if the drop rate was 100% or closer to it then there wouldn't be a problem.

I don't see why SE can't make that the case, seeing as these are so important to PUPs effectiveness compared to the useless selection of lolrings/earings that the other jobs get.

I didn't get Ridill, Byakko haidate, e.body and a ton of other shit in 3 months. I didnt pick the order I would get them either. I don't see what's the problem if your endgame "gear", "spell", or puppet's part have a chance to drop once every 5 days.

Beside, once you will have your pup pimped out, nothing stop you from from that ENM to get what could be nice money.

Kaylia, this was mentioned earlier in the thread but those items you mentioned are not comparable to these attachments. Without those uber items, you can tank just fine, attack very well, and have solid haste%. We need these items JUST to catch up to a weakly equipped War lvl 70. Without them, we will perform poorly on anything 70+ and truly be lolPUPs.

Yes, true, I didn't get Black Belt any time quickly too - just that your job can perform easily without those items (cept byakko's haidate, that's pretty much mandatory). MNK can easily still be a top tier DD without brutal earring, black belt and osode/togi. But can PUP even be a worthwhile job without these attachments end game?

People don't seem to understand, these attachments are our JOB, why should we get such an essential part of our job ass-fed to us every 5 days?

It'd be one thing if this ENM's wins/losses were completely dependent on skill and gil. However, as Wafik and a few others mentioned, Goblin Dice >> Spirits Within = instant failure. It's bullshit that the mob can pull something that instantly wastes your money and your 5 days of waiting and there's not one damn thing you can do about it.
