Zitah music

Iv been trying to find out what type of flute used in the zitah song but i've searched many websites and i couldnt find a name for it...

if someone can tell me the name of that flute because im trying to compose music with it..

i know this isnt worth a thread by it self but...i dont know where to post regarding this

not that id find many answers but the least clue would help

I used to see these things a lot when I was in boy scouts/order of the arrow. I think its some kind of native american flute which plays more like a clarinet rather than a normal flute.

Spent the last hour trying to remember the name of this instument. This is definatley the instrument in my opinion. The reasoning behind this is the smooth transitions in pitch between notes as well as the sound, it has more of an airy tone to it than a standard flute.

Never heard of a panflute, but I believe most of the music in FFXI is synthesized and the basic shape of the sound of these two instruments does sound similar to me now that I've gone and looked them both up. I guess panflute is a much closer match because of how clear synthsized music sounds.
