Looks ok, the problem for me is that Nicholson defined the role in my mind. He's got the look down though, acting will remain to be seen.

The first thing I thought of when I saw that pic was of him taking it up the ass. There's no way I'll be able to take this guy seriously.Originally Posted by Arvin

I loove Christian Bale, he's so awesome in American Psycho, some parts of that movie are so hilarious. Machinist, too. Love him. I agree that the makers of the first film did a great job and I trust their judgement with Heath. He's a great actor and people should try not to define him solely from his character in Brokeback M.
I quiet enjoyed his character in "the brothers" I personally see this being a good movie with him in...
Batman begins is nothing like the previous movies... they have to bring a realism to the story.... and I think Heath can pull this off without breaking a sweat,
The dude from Seven would be a good candidate.
He got the crazy look like a psycho and really menace voice.
Kevin Spacey? I dunno, he usually plays calmer roles.Originally Posted by Iku

His best movie.
Two new Dark Knight announcements:
Ryan Phillippe signed on as Harvey Dent/Two-Face.
Philip Seymour Hoffman is in talks to play The Penguin.
Discuss.
PS: I don't feel like starting a new thread so I added to the discussion here. Deal with it.
Considering that Bruce Wayne went to college with Harvey Dent, Ryan Phillippe starts out with 100 times the credibility that Billy Dee Williams or Tommy Lee Jones had going into the part.Originally Posted by mrfridays

I thought Tommy Lee Jones' Two-Face/Dent was pretty bad, but it really wasn't his fault, at least not completely. The material he was given was god awful (obv).
Billy Dee Williams I thought was a middle of the road, servicable Dent. He didn't really have anywhere near the screen time that Jones did, so the basis for comparison is pretty thin. I would have liked to see how Billy would have portrayed Dent after his transformation to Two-Face.
Jones tried too hard. Sure, he could not have shined that turd of a script into a diamond, but it seems to me that he used it as an opportunity to overact and make goofy faces.Originally Posted by mrfridays
