Are there any more Fights like this one
3 Mithras + 2 Pets
http://ffxi.somepage.com/questdb/521
or the Mammet one in Riverne Site,
doable once per tally/week?
Also how is the drop rate for Evokers
for ppl who go for the Mammet one?
Thanks, Berc!

Diabolos Revenge is a Prime Fight and can be done once every 24 hours ; ). Bahamut I guess isnt repeatable by yourself as well?
What about Bahamut #2?
Ok let me add then this, are there other Fights like MIthra/Mammet that can be done with 1-6 people, are repeatable every tally/week
and GIVE you rewards? No Alliance stuff like Wyrms or Ultima/Omega or Prime Fight like Diabolos.
I didnt know for example till today that there is a Revenge Fight for Mithras >.<. Only done Mammets so far.
Too bad there isn't a revenge fight against the CoP developers.

isn't there revenge fight with mithras X Y Z ... O_o
I wouldn't mind being raped by them again XD
Those are the only ones I know of. About the mithra tracker rematch, what's the least number of people for winning it? It doesn't scale down when you solo it, but I am wondering if there's some strategy to pull a few at a time, like SMN pull or something like that, or if it can be done with fewer people with the right setup and strategy.Originally Posted by bercus

I will try to do this Fight every week now, but iam quiet sure it is beatable by 3-5 ppl instead of a party.
Would like to see what minimum other people used.
There are the alliance avatar fights, if those count.
Mithra BC is basically as easy as the mission BC, so yeah it could definitely be done with 3-4 people with the right setup.I will try to do this Fight every week now, but iam quiet sure it is beatable by 3-5 ppl instead of a party.

We went in NIN SAM BLM BLM and had no trouble at all. Ku > SA Gekko x2 Freeze2 MB killed the PLD outright easily. Sleepga2 works if you Seal it, but even then, it only lasts 45 seconds instead of 90. The Rabbit pet and Dragoon pet cant be slept but bind and gravity works well. If anything really bad happens you can wipe at the entrance and they wont re-aggro upon RR, or just kite it around that huge circle area.
Still working on the X's Knife drop. The BC doesn't have to drop anything but I hear there are some semi-decent drops like galateia.
I remember doing this BC for CoP Mission 5-3. Our RDM fucked up a couple times, so we sent our BLMs o come back as SMNs. Just soooooo happened to be Full Moon 100% Darksday, each one Fenrir Astral Flowed twice and it was over.
I've been waiting to try the Mithra revenge fight this sunday. I had it in my mind that it would be a lot harder.
The mammet bc is easily done with a duo. Probably can get done with a talented soloer as well. I go BST/NIN and my duo partner goes RDM/BLM. Like the other mammet fights, he's only a real danger in his sword form (for /nin anyways). He once killed me with sword + aoe while my shadows were down, I reraised and he proceeded to target me with -ga3 killing me even though my duo partner was still alive with hate on the other side of him. I've gotten an xp scroll everytime I've done this fight. Not sure if going with an xp in inventory will affect the loot pool or not.
I've gotten one evoker in 4 months of duo'ing it. Got one evoker from 3 weeks of Fire in the Sky.Also how is the drop rate for Evokers
for ppl who go for the Mammet one?
I tried many times to duplicate the old "defending ring" trick, you are not allowed to receive anything if you have a XP scroll (in other words, it doesn't stop shit.)Not sure if going with an xp in inventory will affect the loot pool or not.
It actually used to work for this. You'd leave the scroll in your inventory, and Justinius would try to offer you the scroll, but tell you to sort your inventory and come back. Keep your inventory at 60/60, and keep talking to Justinius until he offers a Cloud Evoker. Then, sort your bag and talk to him again to receive it.
However, this was patched, now he will just repeatedly offer the scroll
I remember the change, but they changed it again, I do it every conquest and last week I didn't realize the yellow liquid from the fight made my inventory 60/60.Originally Posted by MisterBob

The thing is, the way they changed it you still can't control what item you will get, because it will be different each time you are full and check. So you can't know what item you will get, only what item you missed out on.
Last time I did it was like 5 weeks ago, and he offered me a XP scroll like 35 straight times. Nice to know it's changed again.
Sure did, I guess you never tried the Lv75 no limit fight which is only doable after finishing CoP that requires a "Letter to X or y or z to enter?Originally Posted by bercus
and as for that BC thats Lv50? capped 5-3, 2smn and 1 PLD with 2 hours = win
Out of around 20 times soloing the Mammet rematch as a SMN, lots of XP scrolls and a few mushroom stews... No sign of a Cloud Evoker.
As for the Mithras, i was quite disappointed when we opened the chest and it was... empty.
Did the Mithras only once though (the 2nd fight, that is).
