There's a 5 second delay. If you make a post that takes 5 seconds or less to type out (or edit) it'll hit preview instead. This effectively stops botting, but it doesn't prevent paid human spammers (which is what we've been getting lately instead of those long lists of links posts that used to be here).

There are a few other things to watch out for, such as if your IP changes during the post/edit or anything else that might alert the script to think you're a sneaky bastard bot.

So from now on, just wait 5 seconds before hitting submit. I've seen a few people get confused over it, but I didn't really want to advertise the change since it's really not a big deal. If you're taking less than 5 seconds on a post...
