    Nintendo DS Wi-Fi Problem

I just got a DS the other day, and got Mario Kart as well. I am trying to detect my wireless router through the DS, but it detects every possible internet connection in the neighboorhood (all PW protected), except for mine..my PSP detects my wireless connectoin fine, but not my DS. Anyone has had this problem and know how to fix it?

It's an option in your router setup page:

That was enabled, except it still doesn't detect it on the DS...How come it detects it on the PSP and not DS?

    Hmmm....idk possibly a channel issue?

Shot in the dark...but are the the same type of wireless? There's Wireless A,B,G,N and quite a few others I haven't cared to learn. They are not cross compatible either, but many routers will support several bands.

hmm, i had a problem with my DS and router when I didn't have a right wireless security compatible with it (WEP?). I had to change. Try that.

I was having issues myself until I input the SSID manually.

Heh Nintendo Wifi Rocks and All, And The Multiplayer Games are very nice... only if the wifi didn't suck balls. Lol sometimes the wifi would interfere with my wireless on my desktop and disconnect me from FF. I had the worst time with Animal Crossing Wi-Fi, it was fking horrible trying to connect to it.

Well, I couldn't get it to work with my D-Link router... tried a bunch of shit. I just bought a 30 dollar USB Nintendo WiFi transmitter of EBay.... and that works like a charm. Might want to try that if all else fails.... or go hang out at a McDonalds for the free Nnintendo wi-fi ;p
