May be OFN but I thought this video was interesting. Get to see some people playing some games on the Wii (like Redsteel).

I'm even more skeptical about the controller after seeing this, no doubt it looks a bit fun but still...guess I won't know until I try it.

Well.... I think the controller looks cool, but I'll most likely resort to the normal controller. I thought the army game looked kind of cool.... it's all good though, the Wii's price range already convinced me. Thats like the best video on the net as far as getting an idea of how the controller actually works.

I personally think the Wii controller is awesome, but I'm glad they're leaving the gamecube controller ports and adding the classic pad too.

No doubt playing with it will be fun, but it'll also get really strainful really fast on the legions of overweight unathletic gamers in the world.

I mainly didn't like the way the camera was controlled and the katana fights in Redsteel were...underwhelming, FPS looks akward (army game looked like hell to play).

Don't mind me, but for the most part I'll probably just stick with a normal control and a PS3.

The whole OTT actions is what made it interesting to me, just flicking your wrist for ages isn't really using the 'mote to it's potential I think and you'll just end up with sore wrists after a while (and most gamers have pretty shitty reactions lol!)

That reminds me of the power glove for NES. I was a little kid and thought that I could do non-stop uppercuts in Mike Tyson's Punchout if I would get one. I'm glad I never did get one b/c it was a pain in the ass to use. The zapper was likely the best interactive controller ever.

The power pad was another good one, but I found a way to cheat with that and pound on the sensors with my hands instead of feet to make my character run twice as fast.

gamers of MMO's probably have shitty reactions. Those who've played FPS games on the PC (without aimbots) have pretty good reaction times.
