I just got home from this an hour ago, and let me tell you -- amazing experience. He was scheduled to Q&A from 2-4, but didn't end up leaving until about 9:30, which is almost unheard of. He pretty much had an open mic, and anyone in the line could ask whatever they wanted, and he gave each person anywhere from a 5-30 minute response.

He even called Jay Muse at one point and we all got to hear him.

He talked about moviemaking, actors, his movies old and upcoming, his life, his wife, his daughter, man...just EVERYTHING. He even talked about his ANAL FISSURE for like 20 minutes, it was absolutely hilarious.

One of the best times that I've had in absolute ages. He was so nice, and just gave great advice, and was extremely entertaining.

Alot of people asked genuinely good questions, but alot of people were also like, "I LOV U CAN I SHAK UR HAND PLZ?" and asked, "Will you cameo/star in my student film that I just thought about?" or "Will you put me in your movies" and just dumb shit. ALOT of questions were stupid.

At one point a girl asked him to leave the voicemail of her phone, and he was like "Sure!!" and he said something like, "Hey this is Kevin Smith this is Sara's phone she isn't here right now....but she LIKES IT UP THE ASSSSSSSSS!!!!!" it was so great.

There were tons of other amazing moments, funny things said, stupid questions asked that he just sort of looked at the 'asker' funnily while everyone just laughed, and all in all it was just a really fucking great great afternoon with Kevin Smith.

I'll post some pics later. Palin and I got right up front (literally like 2nd row) at the end and got some great shots.

He has a gut, but I wouldn't call him a fat fuck. Actually, he was skinny as a stick compared to alot of the people that attended the event. The guys sitting infront of me probably each weighed 300+ lbs each, and I'm not exaggerating. There were upcoming filmmakers there, but alot of the audience was comprised of comic book and Kevin Smith fans. And I've been to Comic Con, so I can stereotype Comic Book fans since I've seen the hardcorest ones, right?
