battle of the fittest (carby fight)

I've done my homework and tried to search for that old thread that was a bazillion pages long. Every combination of carby, prime, battle of the fittest, etcetcetc came back with no results. Were old threads dumped when the site moved, or was I just unlucky? Can somebody please link me to that thread (assuming you have it bookmarked or something); my ls is going to try to give this a go, and I'd like to look up the details again so we can be properly prepared.

Do you mean the one where you have to first beat all 6 of the Waking the Beast Prime fights (the fights where the Primes all have 4 elementals with them) first and then you can move on to the Carbuncle Prime one?
