I just /blist this gil seller, but the guy still sends me some tells... And no, I didn't make a mistake while writing his name, lol.

When you zone, the blacklist doesn't work and you can recieve tells, emotes, chat messages, whatever from said blacklisted people.

Err lemme clarify, when you zone, the lag right as you zone allows you to recieve tells and such from blacklisted people. Found this out when I got a party invite from someone I blisted almost a year ago after zoning. >.>

Ironic how zoning both prevents you from receiving tells/seeing chat you want to see, and also allows blist through immediately after.

It sounds like the blacklist info has to "reload" everytime you zone. Just like if you zone and check your equip, it's all blank as is your item list. In Aht Urghan zones, even your map is unaccessible momentarily after zoning.

On a similar note, I found if you cancel your Content ID and subsequently return, blacklist info is reset and you can send/receive from anyone again.

I find it odd that the blacklist only holds 100 prisoners while the friendlist can hold 200 prisoners :x

Just making sure but maybe you just didn't type it correctly?
You need to type "/blist ADD name" and also you have to do it while he's online. You will see a message saying "player name added to blacklist", and when you just type "/blist" you will see his name on the list.
If it wasn't that, then yes like people already said here, when you zone there's a few seconds where your blist filter is not working, just like if you open your magic menu right after zoning you see all the spells you ever learned, some grayed out but still listed, including songs etc.

The post just said that he typed the name correctly, I was trying to make sure he got the 'added to blist' message, you can type the name correctly and forget to include 'add', or do it when someone is offline, and it won't actually get added. As I mentioned he can check that easily by seeing if the name is in the blacklist or not. He didn't give a lot of extra info to go by.

Does how much you don't like someone affect your blacklist? mine only holds 63... and its full. Man I been having to remove people who I forgotten why i blisted them in the first place to add newly acquired nemesis.

The only 2 people on my blist are a retarded nin who complained why AH prices are so high (2m back in FF's glory days) then bumped up the price and sold it for more expensive, being a gigantic hypocrite (sold for 2.4-2.5m , keep in mind you were rich with 500k back then).

And a BLM/SMN who I got sky acess with, and told me i'm an asshole for calling him a retard due to his sub (i was able to silena people in ZM8, he stood there with carby or some gay shit).

I blisted him for being such a hypocrite. He also was posting all over KI saying how he hates everyone who does this , then goes out and does it, when he got called out for it he made some shitty "idk" reasons.
