FFXI account LM-11'ed from end of August now active again

then we can all join hands, sing Puff the magic dragon and all the people who buy and sell gil will go to their bathroom irl and take a razor for a walk with traffic not across the street.

No, short of getting their RL addresses and committing a few felonious acts upon their persons...there's not much we can directly do about botters except point fingers and pray for opportunities.

It's those people at S-E we pay money to that can do something about botters. If the RMT SWAT team they're putting together works, I'm hoping they proceed down the line and start using extremely prejudical actions on other cheaters as well.

I'd say a good dose of GM Dave-style justice would be good. Zonelock them into a nice room in Mordion Gaol with Jormy, lock their HP to the center of the room, and let the dragon feedings and delevelings commence. Repeat until character delevels to 5th, then toss them out with a "You can kill my ass" flag over their heads for the general public to pimp slap till the account holder cancels and goes back to surfing porn password sites 24-7. If they don't want to log in and be humiliated, well I guess we got ourselves a makeshift bansticking. GJ, people.

I happen to believe creative humiliation would work wonders. It's just a game, right botter boys?

if SE impliments a hax detection system, then i wouldnt have any problems against it. matter of fact i dont even think botters would care, because if noone can use them the playing field is then releveled.

the way i see it is now is everyone seems to use them to counteract everyone elses bot (regardless if this is good or bad im not debating). you take away not only your chance at using one, but everyone elses and then you have a equal system once again (as close to it as possible).

the only other thing youd have to deal with is the "get everyone in your LS to camp" to tip the probability to claim.

This is mostly about speedhack and pos.exe though since SE can't detect bots.

People would still seek to gain an unfair advantage if SE broke all bots. Just look at how many used speedhack and pos.exe even though the majority didn't. And yeah, maybe most people bot to level the field, but those same people that used pos.exe would also bot to get an advantage over non-botters. And pretty much every HNM LS has a couple of them.

I have 2 accounts that were both LM-11'ed at the end of august (having had previous warnings/tempbans on the accounts) and they are both active again.

Is anybody else able to access their thought-to-be permabanned accounts?

on Topic: i had an account banned for almost a year now.

it gives me an LM-11 code, i called SE and they told me its suspended only.
Also, they asked me for the CC info that i used on that account, which i lost, in order to find out when will my account be released.

as i remember, LM-11 is perma-banned. or am i wrong?
