FFXI account LM-11'ed from end of August now active again

I have 2 accounts that were both LM-11'ed at the end of august (having had previous warnings/tempbans on the accounts) and they are both active again.

Is anybody else able to access their thought-to-be permabanned accounts?

No idea, you can't register non-NA addresses with NA version of the game so even if a letter was sent out, it wouldn't go to me.

Of course that doesn't apply to being in linkshell with someone who bots, or profiting from such bots, it's only those people and only in this unique scenario.

That's right...so why use something that alters the way the game is played and experienced?

Is there a chance that someone in my linkshell is cheating and that I am indirectly "profiting" from it? Hell yes...there is always that chance, but I'm not going to waste my time scrutinizing every person in my shell.

I've accepted that it is a part of this game...there are cheaters and assholes everywhere. It doesn't mean I have to like it.
